There are only twelve notes on any piano, even though the piano keys are eighty-eight including black or white keys. Now we reduce the twelve notes again, but first, we pick out a single key of the twelve existing keys, leaving only eight notes that are part of a key.

By the way, when you play the piano, always use the fingering of the scale. You will mostly find exactly the eight piano notes, which are needed to play the piano and read the music very easily.  In Piano Program, I am speaking, of course, from simple folk songs and carols.

It’s all about, playing the piano notes often, looking at the book and less on the keys. The more secure your hand feel on the keys, the more intense is the view of the written notes, the less chance of loosing your way on the keys.

Your hands will soon know the path, and when you do it again, and again, this will help your hearing to notice the mistake immediately. It will sound outrageously out of your scale, so, just play it all over again, from the beginning, and you will very soon learn get it right.
